1889 Foundation of the company by G. Albert Storz in Tuttlingen. Manufacture of a wide range of surgical instruments. 1940 The company is taken over by the son, Albert Storz. He specifically increases the company?s export activities. 1960 The son-in-law, Fritz Binder, takes over the management of the organisation, specialising in ear, nose and throat instruments, with particular emphasis on instruments for throat operations. 1981 Moving into the new company building in Wurmlingen near Tuttlingen. 1989 Ulrich Binder takes over the company in its 4th generation. In a modern environment and with seven members of staff the company today produces high-quality products for customers at home and abroad. Constant monitoring and optimisation of the production processes ensure the high quality of our products demanded by our customers.
